Legacy mzCloud Obsolescence – March 2027

What is going to happen:

The legacy mzCloud will be going offline in March of 2027.  This is a result of the end of life of Microsoft Silverlight upon which the legacy website was built.  This does NOT affect the new mzCloud library.

What is the impact:

Web users – little to no impact, sign up to or continue to use the new mzCloud site (www.mzCloud.org) where new library content is added throughout the year.

Compound Discoverer – Users on Compound Discoverer 3.4 or later will be unaffected as you can already search the new mzCloud online from these new versions.  Users on older Compound Discoverer versions will either need to update to a new version of Compound Discoverer or use the offline mzCloud libraries in mzVault format which will allow you to continue to access the curated MS2 data from mzCloud in an offline format.
